Professor Andrew Morris FRSE FMedSci

Fellows and guests are invited to a lecture by Professor Andrew Morris, Professor of Medicine, Director of the Usher Institute for Population Health Sciences and Informatics and Vice Principal, Data Science at the University of Edinburgh.

Professor Morris is currently seconded as Chief Scientist for the Scottish Government Health Directorate which supports and promotes research aimed at improving the quality and cost-effectivnesss of services offered by NHS Scotland.

Academy President, Sir Robert Lechler will be attending this event and will say a few words of background about current Academy work and strategy planning. We are delighted to use this event as an opportunity for local Fellows to meet Robert for informal discussion over drinks following the lecture.  

The drinks reception following the lecture is open to all attendees.
