Health of the public in 2040: ‘call for input’ launched

The Academy of Medical Sciences has launched a ‘call for input’ to inform its ‘Health of the public in 2040’ working group project.

The project aims to help secure future wellbeing by better understanding the factors which will affect the public’s future health, and how they might be influenced to deliver the outcomes we desire.

A ‘call for input’ has been launched to allow the working group, chaired by Professor Dame Anne Johnson DBE FMedSci, to hear a broad range of views and aspirations concerning the future health of the UK population. The group will draw on the submissions to begin developing practical recommendations for the future.
