A project update has been published for the ‘Team Science’ policy project, which outlines the future directions of the project and contains a summary of the views expressed in the written evidence received last autumn.
The Academy of Medical Sciences is currently undertaking a policy project looking at the incentives and disincentives for researchers to participate in large collaborative projects. The project is focusing on how recognition of such contributions can be improved in career-relevant decision making, such as recruitment, promotion and grant allocation.
The project has engaged with funders, employers, publishers and researchers from multiple countries and from academia, industry and the NHS.
Further information can be found on the project homepage.
