The Winter Science Meeting for Starter Grant Holders is an event organised exclusively for Starter Grants for Clinical Lecturers award holders. It is an opportunity for our awardees to share their research, network with each other, Academy Fellows and Research Funders, and explore the next steps in their career. It is a full-day conference, held at the Academy's headquarters in London, to which delegates bring posters and give oral presentations.
Registration for the Winter Science Meeting is now open and will close on Friday 26 September 2014, 5pm. This year's Winter Science Meeting will be held on Monday 17 November 2014, 9.30-18.00 at the Academy of Medical Sciences, 41 Portland Place W1B 1QH. The keynote lecture will be given by Dr Jeremy Farrar OBE FMedSci, Director of the Wellcome Trust.
