Summary:
The UK Government issued a consultation document entitled 'Science and Innovation: Working Towards a Ten Year Strategy' in 2004 to which the Academy of Medical Sciences responded. In preparing its response the Academy convened a Working Group, conducted a survey of its Fellowship and held a 'scoping' meeting in partnership with the Council of Heads of Medical Schools.
