The Academy of Medical Science is delighted to announce the election of 44 new Fellows in 2013.

The Academy of Medical Sciences, through its trading subsidiary, has entered into an agreement to facilitate advice from Fellows to a UK-based regulated asset management company, Park Vale Capital.

The Presidents of the four UK National Academies have called on Government to guarantee a stable investment framework for research and innovation over the next ten years.

The Academy has released a report which makes recommendations to strengthen academic psychiatry, to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of mental ill health.

The Foulkes Foundation Medal is awarded to a researcher for outstanding acheivements during the first ten years of their career.
The winner recieves a cash prize of £1500.
Deadline for nomination is 14 June 2013.
