Academies publish joint statement on research & innovation after the EU referendum

Seven Academies - the Academy of Medical Sciences, the British Academy, the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Royal Society, the Learned Society of Wales, the Royal Society of Edinburgh and the Royal Irish Academy - have published a statement on research and innovation after the EU Referendum.

The national academies represent the best researchers and innovators in their fields. They stand ready to help ensure that the UK maintains its world leading position in research and innovation. The statement considers key priorities for the UK's research community across four areas:

  • People
  • Collaboration
  • Resources
  • Regulation

The statement is available to download from the right hand side of this page, and forms part of wider Academy activities around this topic.
