The Academy has released a short film to celebrate the launch of the report "Realising the potential of stratified medicine" earlier this year.
The film features interviews with Professor Sir John Bell FRS HonFREng FMedSci, chair of the working group and former President of the Academy, and with Professor Andrew Morris FRSE FMedSci and Professor Adrian Towse.
Together, they discuss some of the key issues underpinning the report, including the analysis and storage of data, the economic benefits of stratified medicine, and some of the barriers standing between the theory and implementation in the UK.
